Emergency Operations Centre

When the assembly of a municipal control group is required to coordinate response to a serious emergency, it is imperative that an appropriate facility is provided for the group’s activities as well as those of its supporting staff. Such a facility is known as an Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), and is required under legislation. A municipal Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) is essential to the process of providing centralized direction and coordination of emergency response and recovery operations.
