IMS Position Checklists

The IMS Position Checklists provide an outline of the key tasks to be performed by all major functions within Ontario’s Incident Management System (IMS). The checklists are designed:

  • To be used at an incident site or in an Emergency Operations Centre (EOC),
  • To be easily tailored to your needs,
  • To help responders and organizations acting in all three IMS response roles—Incident Support, Incident Command and Area Command—effectively respond to incidents, and
  • To serve as a valuable reference tool for incident response and training purposes.
