TRAINING
Emergency Management Ontario develops and delivers innovative training programs to increase awareness and applied knowledge of emergency management practices and principles across Ontario. We encourage you to explore our course offerings and training information.
EMO offers three types of training delivery methods: self-directed courses, indirect delivery courses and direct delivery courses.
Self-Directed Courses
A suite of e-learning and self-study courses designed to provide a foundation of awareness on specific topics in emergency management. These 100-level courses are often the first in a series of related courses.
- EM-125 - Exercise Programs: An Introduction
- EM-131 - Accessible Customer Service for Emergency Responders
- IMS-100 - Introduction to Incident Management System
All courses are administered through the Emergency Management Training Portal. The Training Portal provides instructors and students an increased level of autonomy related to participation in EMO’s Training Program.
